We all carry a light within ourselves. It is either a bright white or a dark black. Some of us try to deceive others by making it seem like we carry the bright white, but in reality, within our hearts it's an overbearing black. And some of us stay true to who we are and let whatever light we carry shine through with intensity. It's hard to know what truly lies within the hearts of people. We think we know someone but they turn out to be completely different. And in the worst moments of life people's true light (true colors) comes out. I think everyone carries both lights within them. It all depends on which one they care about more, want more, to show through their countenance. It all depends on which one they let over power the other (I'm reminded of one of the final scenes in "Avatar: The Last Airbender" where Aang is spirit bending the Fire Lord and his beautiful blue light is almost overpowered by the evil red, but in the very last moment his will comes through and he is able to push the evil light out).
