I've been in need of a new headshot for a while now. And with my first non-juried art show coming up in a couple weeks it was imperative that I get one right away. I love collaborating with others and making sure that people get the chance to use their talents and have an opportunity to be in the spotlight.
So I asked my mentee to take my headshot for me. And I asked another of the young ladies from my church to make me pretty since I know nothing of how to do makeup or hair. It was a wonderful experience letting these girls shine and do what they do best! The pictures turned out fantastic and I felt pretty darn beautiful all dolled up. Here are just a few of my favorites, including the one that I chose for the website and the art show (pictured above).
