Several months ago my husband came home from work with a grin on his face. "I've found the coolest photo location!" If my husband got excited over a location I knew it had to be good and after viewing it myself I fell instantly in love and became overly eager to use it. And just this past weekend I was finally able to.
In this day and age we are all about fame, followings and likes. Constantly seeking the "love" and "devotion" of people, some we have never met. We want people to gravitate toward us. But why? For our own self-gratification? Because we feel it means we are more loved? Ego?
There was a certain man who lived many, many years ago. People naturally gravitated toward him. Not because he sought fame, but because he loved them first. He was a beacon. Be a beacon to others. Help bring those who find themselves in darkness, whether from trials or physical pain or whatever maladies they are experiencing, out of that darkness by showing them pure kindness, caring and love with no thought for yourself. And in loving them first they will love you in return.
